Jesus JunXion – A Ministry Anchored in Christ
Jesus JunXion is more than a ministry—it is a lifeline, a beacon of hope that has carried a family through the deepest valleys of death, poverty, illness, and loss. These words may seem easy to overcome when spoken, but the reality is far different when the weight of suffering presses down relentlessly. Yet, in the midst of every storm, Jesus has remained our anchor.
Choosing Jesus is like taking a deep breath—a breath that fills your lungs calms your mind, and waters your soul. But following Christ does not come without sacrifice. Even as children of God, we are called to live in the world, but not be of the world (John 17:16). It is not easy to stand boldly in faith when faced with hundreds of unbelievers, yet we press on, because He is worth it.
A Mission Rooted in the Gospel
Jesus JunXion officially registered as a non-profit organization on 23 July 2014 (139-744 NPO), but our doors were open long before then. Since 2011, we have opened our hearts and lives to God, surrendering to His call to serve those in need. Our mission is simple yet profound—to impact lives with the Gospel, one person at a time.
Our commission is found in Isaiah 61:1-3, a scripture that breathes life into everything we do:
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.
To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
And provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”
From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord will be praised (Psalm 113:3). That is our foundation, our reason for every step we take.

Our Impact Over the Years
For over a decade, Jesus JunXion has been the hands and feet of Christ, reaching those who need Him most. We have opened soup kitchens, built homes of solitude and safety for abused and abandoned children, and extended our hearts to the lost and broken. Today, our ministry remains deeply rooted in the North West Province of South Africa, where we continue to serve, love, and proclaim the name of Jesus.
Yet, the Lord was not done expanding our borders.
Anchored in Hope – Taking the Gospel Beyond the Shore
On November 5, 2020, Jesus JunXion launched a new project called Anchored in Hope. Led by Gwen and Andre du Preez, this initiative took the Gospel to new horizons—literally. Leaving behind the comfort of the familiar, they set sail on a 34-foot sailboat, bringing the message of Christ to the coastal regions of South Africa and beyond into Africa.
Through this journey, we have lost and gained much. The things that once seemed important have faded, replaced by a deeper understanding that true life is found in Christ alone. We have learned that God does not call the perfect—He calls the willing. He is the One who equips, strengthens, and carries us through every trial.
Join Us on This Journey
Jesus JunXion is a call to action—a call to live for Christ, serve the broken, and bring the Gospel to every corner of the earth. Will you walk this path with us?
“A cross carried simply, and without those returns of self-love which exaggerate troubles, is no longer a cross. Peaceable suffering is no longer suffering. We complain of suffering! We should have much more reason to complain of not suffering, since nothing makes us more like Our Lord than carrying His Cross.” – St. John Vianney
No matter where you are, you are invited to be part of this mission. Whether through prayer, partnership or stepping out in faith—let’s proclaim the name of Jesus together.
