“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
For many years, Christian counselling has been a vital part of my journey—a calling to walk alongside the broken, offering the hope and healing found only in Christ. The Word of God is not just ink on a page; it is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), a guide that teaches, corrects, and strengthens us so that we may walk in righteousness.
When life shatters around us, when the weight of our past becomes unbearable, we can either remain in chains or choose to step into the freedom Christ has already won for us. The Word of God gives us the tools to pick up our cross and move forward—to rise from victim to victor, from pain to healing, from slavery to freedom.
I know this truth because I have lived it.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
– John 8:36
There was a time when my own past was too heavy to bear. I sat in a hospital room, broken, begging God to set me free from the pain I could not face. I wanted the suffering to end. But in that moment of deepest despair, God met me with His truth. His Word became the light that shattered the darkness, the anchor that kept me from drowning. Only through the power of Scripture could I finally put the gun down, walk away from my past, and step into the freedom He had always intended for me.

That is what God longs to do for each of us. He does not just patch up our wounds—He heals, restores, and transforms us from the inside out. In a world that denies Him, we stand as living proof that He exists. That His grace is real. That no chain is too strong for Him to break.
As children of God, we are not exempt from the hurt of this world, but we are equipped.
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” – Revelation 12:11
The price has been paid. The victory has already been won. And through Christian counselling, through the truth of God’s Word, we learn to stand firm in the storm, resist the enemy’s lies, and walk boldly in the identity God has given us.
You are not alone. You were never meant to be. If you are weary, if your past still haunts you, if you long for freedom—there is hope. And that hope is found in Jesus Christ.
As children of God, we are not exempt from the hurt of this world, but we are equipped.
